Ava Mae has been able to walk for a little while now. So that's all well and good but she just hasn't been really motivated to do it much. She will do it if we ask her to or she is outside on the concrete where it is uncomfortable to crawl. I haven't pushed her much because
I think most babies are better off finding their own motivation and desire I am lazy and wanted her to stay a baby a little while longer before diving head first into toddlerhood.
Cue yesterday. We had a playdate at the house and a sweet friend brought over her girls both of whom are only one month younger than mine. And, OH, her little one was moving. Ava sat and watched the phenomenon for about five seconds before she hopped right up and, I kid you not, DID NOT crawl again for the rest of the day.
So I guess she found her motivation?
