Imagination

I've been needing to stretch my imagination lately. It hasn't really been used much in the last couple of months; and while I adore working in a bank, I'm pretty sure that "creative banking" usually doesn't end well. So I'm bringing the creativity home...literally. I am taking on the title of domestic diva!

While I've experimented with a little creativity in the kitchen I have ultimately choosen to go in a different direction with in my domestic pursuits right now, I am going to sew! I'm not really sure how or this is all going to come about, but now that the idea is implanted in my head, I'm running with it full force!

I have had my first successful sewing adventure (hemming pants) thanks to Nathalie and with a little nudge from Lacee I have ordered some Heather Bailey fabric and an Amy Butler book. (In case you were unaware, they are all the rage among the crafty crowd!) Russ is a little leary of my big plans (and I do have BIG plans), but I'm sure he'll see the beauty in it eventually. You know after he gets used to sharing the dinner table with my projects and girly sewing stuff laying around the house.
