My Unsolicited Parenting Advice

I know everybody loves unsolicited parenting advice so if you happen to be of the Millennial/entitled (of which i am the poster child) generation listen up! Raise up cheerleader for yourself.

Awesome isn't it.

Yesterday, after I made the foolish decision to walk to the school in ninety seven degree weather whilst five and half months pregnant the Bug look up at me and said, "Good Job Mommy, I so proud of you for walking to the school.

And I realized that she uses one of the following phrases,

"Good Job" "Way to go" "I so proud of you"

At least several times sprinkled throughout the day. Is she perhaps a little over-praised? Possibly.

But at the end of the day when it's been long and naps have been difficult and one baby is teething and one is testing boundaries yet again sometimes you just need someone to tell you, "Good job for making dinner." And somehow it's all the sweeter when it comes out of your sweet child's mouth.
