Dear Sweet Two Year Old,
We are going to make it through today.
We are going to survive your indignant insistence on wearing panties. We will then survive your indignant insistence on not sitting on the potty.
We will survive the nap time, when I have to physically hold you still to get you to rest long enough to fall asleep. We will survive this afternoon when a short nap has made you cranky.
You and me, little girl will, survive time outs for hitting and yelling. We will make it through the devastation of not being able to find the right toy at the right time.
I'm sure we will, because right before that nap you came snuggled up in my lap. You signed and said I love you while you giggled.
We will make it through the day.
